This painting touched my heart, although there is no way you could understand or possibly come close to feeling the same unless you’ve been inches away from the original.  The sun, a brilliant peach in the sky, has the most visibly delicate brush strokes; it’s shadow, a rainbow of warm tones cast along the cool harbor.
